The Queen Victoria Cyclo-Cross Race is a truly unique off-road cycling event and one of the 'must ride' races in the British Cyclo-Cross calendar.
The race takes place in July each year against the stunning backdrop of Blists Hill Victorian Town in the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire, an open-air living museum and World Heritage site.
The race itself is a real 'have a go' event for all-comers, adults and juniors alike, attracting over 300 riders from across the UK, including Ludgate's very own Steve Grice.
And it's still described as "fun" despite being a gruelling circuit over cobbled streets, steep inclines and through wooded trails.
We are very proud sponsors of this family event enabling it to be broadcast on the SKY TV/VIRGIN Bike Channel and delighted to feature here video footage from the 2017 event.
Look out for full coverage of the race, winners and riders, on The Bike Channel in September.
